Like half of Southern California, I’ve got the flu. What’s worse is I’ve had to go to hell work the past two days, despite the fact that I’m sick (the whole world falls apart if I’m not there kind of stuff…) Luckily, I was able to crawl in bed by 7:30pm last night and the extra rest really helped. I felt a bit better today, but I knew I could use some additional help:

I managed to get L.A. Toddler to help me prepare and sign all of her Valentines Day Cards for all her classmates at daycare. We set up a little assembly line and churned out 23 “Be My Valentine” cards in no time at all! No tearing, shredding, yanking, pulling, or screams of “Mine, mine! Let me do it!” And my head, which feels like it weighs forty-two pounds, was thankful.

Now, if I could just convince L.A. Daddy that it’s perfectly alright for him to chop off my head… I can finally have some peace. Ugh, I’m off to bed now. Have a Happy Valentines Day tomorrow everyone!
