I was touched by the story of your Mother's Day meal and wanted to share with you--and your readers--a new campaign that celebrates the nice things people do for one another.

Your Mother's Day story is the perfect example of a sharing story that could help a family in need get the food they are in need of.

The "Spread the Sharing" campaign by Country Crock celebrates the wonderful acts of sharing that people do every day and pays that kindness forward to those who need it most. For every sharing story posted on www.SpreadTheSharing.com Country Crock will donate a meal to a family in need through America's Second Harvest.

Hunger is a constant battle (14 million children go to bed hungry every night nationally) and this program tells people what they can do, from their chair at no cost to them, to help the needy among us.

This is a feel good, positive website that will touch your heart.

Please visit www.SpreadTheSharing.com for more info or contact me. Thanks!

I'm sorry about your mom. Carry on what you love about her as a mother yourself.

And as for that Mother's Day dinner...I had a brunch and well, my little one was so excited to have "watered all the plants" and "stir the muffins". I just try not to think that perhaps there was a sneeze or two in the bowl!

Happy Mother's Day!
