Boy or Girl?

I have my 16 week checkup tomorrow and we’re hoping that this baby cooperates just like L.A. Toddler did - giving us a nice spread-eagle shot on the ultrasound so we can easily determine the sex.
This afternoon I had my Korean and Mexican co-workers proclaiming - IT’S A BOY!  They did the” ring on a string over your open right hand” trick and the longer they held it the stronger it swung back and forth.  (A circular pattern would have indicated a girl.)
I also did a kinesiology test with my thumb and two first fingers on my right hand inside a circle formed by my left thumb and pointer finger.  You ask your body if you’re having a boy and then try to open the left handed circle, then you do the same only asking if you’re having a girl.  The one that doesn’t open or holds against the pressure the most is the sex of your baby.  This test said… IT’S A GIRL!
Oh God, what if it’s twins?!

Girl. And I’m rarely wrong about these things . . .

    I’m hoping for triplets.

I like a bit of drama in my blogs.

When my wife was pregnant with our first child, we had an ultrasound at 3 months by a family friend. She told us we were having a boy. I spent the next 3 months talking to ‘Zachary’ in her belly.

My wife got the chicken pox at 5 months and that lead to a recommendation of an in-depth ultrasound at 6 months. The doctor told us that the baby had no problems from the chicken pox, but that he was actually a she.

I struggled for two days with the concept of losing ‘Zachary’ but then got comfortable with talking to ‘Zoe’. Zoe is now 11.

The story is don’t believe the first ultrasound…
