Aquamom!

I’ve been really lax about blogging lately (sorry!)
I’m finally out of the first trimester with L.A. Fetus - officially 15 weeks pregnant and am really and truly feeling better. Nausea is gone and I’m getting a little energy back.  Yay!
I decided to check out the Aquamom class at my local YMCA.  What a blast!  I met a few other moms-to-be and spent an hour chatting and bouncing around in the water getting a really good cardio workout. The baby L-O-V-E-D it too! I thought I had a whole gymnastics team in my belly. I can ‘feel the burn’ a little today but am more energized than I’ve been in months.
I can hardly wait to go back later in the week.
I spent my last pregnancy walking and doing my kegels and thought I was getting a good workout then. I’m really anxious to see how my labor goes this time around - it seems like I really got a whole body workout. And I think the swimming pool is going to be what gets me through this summer! The water workout is almost easy - and that’s my kind of exercise!
Any other pregos out there? What are you doing for exercise?

    I’m not preggers, but I walked. I walked everywhere. That was all I could do. The aqua stuff I hear is great, because you don’t feel so weighed down and relieved of the pressure of the baby.

    I am 17 weeks pregnant and am still waiting for that kick of energy. Blah.

    I am starting to do some walking with my husband and going back into the gym to work my arms and walk on the treadmill. I can’t wait for the outdoor swimming pool to open after next weekend. We plan for me to get some “easier” exercises in there.
