So, L.A. Toddler and I are driving to her daycare this morning. A guy cuts me off on the street near her school.

Without thinking, I shout out, “Jesus, jerk! You almost hit me!” And I gave him the business end of my car horn for good measure.

L.A. Toddler yells out from the back seat, “Jesus not a jerk, mommy!” “You say dammit!”

I reply with, “Well, I shouldn’t be saying either one of those words, right?!”

L.A. Toddler thinks about it and comes back with, “You say — “Ohhhh, maaaaaannn!” (and she said it with Dora’s ‘Swiper-no-swiping!’ voice)

I tell her that is a much better alternative.

Damn…busted again!
